Pixel pitch is directly directly tied to image resolution and cost. Ads pixel pitch goes from 4mm to 2mm the number of pixels on a single LED cabinet gets approximately 4 times larger and image resolution is 4 times higher. The higher resolution comes at a price so the decision on pixel pitch needs to be strategic one considering the viewing distance for people seeing the display.
